May 2011, Mother Nature

 

During the month of May 2011 quake activity continues near the East coast of Honshu as well as Hokkaido, Japan and the Bonin Islands. Vanuatu quakes will increase along shaking in and around the Solomon Islands and areas of Indonesia. India will experience noticeable movement the later part of May into June. At the mid-point of the month there should be an increase in quakes along the coast of Russia and in Qinghai-Sichuan Border Region of China, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Iran and Afghanistan.

Puerto Rico in the area of San Juan will shake. Alaska and surrounding islands have been on a role for a few years and will start to act up with noticeable quakes this month. The North West Territories of Canada will shake and British Columbia will experience activity.

 

The Guerrero area of México, Jalisco and the Baja, Mexico/California area will shake along with the Gulf of California. Movement in South Lake Tahoe due to quake activity along the California/Nevada border is possible. The Hawthorne, Nevada quakes will continue this month. Smaller activity near Tom’s Place occurs along with movement in San Francisco.
